A pair of candidates on opposite sides of the political aisle are protesting the results of last week's Bexar County primary. Cynthia Brehm is in a runoff for the chair of the county Republican Party. Michelle Barrientes Vela, a Democratic former constable under several indictments, lost her race for Bexar County sheriff. Both women appeared before the County Commissioners on Tuesday, claiming discrepancies and corruption in the March 3rd primary. A software glitch delayed voting results for hours that night.
