Record Turnout In San Antonio, Computer Glitches Delay Results

A record number of voters went to the polls in Bexar County on Super Tuesday. Bexar County Elections officials say 253,071 cast a vote, making it a record for a primary election in Bexar County. Of the 253,071, 113,650 cast their ballots yesterday, while 139,421 cast ballots through early and absentee voting.

Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen says there are questions as to why software the used glitched causing delays in reporting their results. "The hamster wheel went slow, and slow and slower, and then it stopped," Callanen said. They have asked the vendor to look into the issue.
