Acting DHS Secretary McAleenan Testifies At Senate Hearing On Border Crisis

U.S. Senator John Cornyn easily won the GOP nomination on Super Tuesday. It is still not known who Cornyn will face, as the Democrats in the race are headed to a runoff. There were 12 Democrats running, with Air Force veteran M.J. Hegar the top vote recipient on the Democratic side. Hegar was expected to face Cristina Tzintzun Ramirez in a runoff as Ramirez was running in second place with some votes still to be counted overnight.
