A student is in the hospital after a stabbing at Americas High School yesterday. Officials with the Socorro Independent School District say two students got into a fight when one stabbed the other. Authorities say the suspect initially fled the scene, but has since been taken into custody. SISD says the victim suffered serious injuries, and another student was hurt while trying to help the victim. However, the other student was not hospitalized.
