Cleanup continues after the catastrophic rupture of an eight-foot water main in southeast Houston on Thursday. Crews have pumped or drained all the water out of the main, which is a major line from a purification plant that provides nearly half the water in the Houston area. Mayor Sylvester Turner on Thursday afternoon recommended all Houstonians boil water before drinking or cooking for the next 24 hours. Houston Public Works says repairs are expected to continue throughout most of today.
