San Antonio Zoo Extends Hours for Spring Break

San Antonio Zoo is gearing up for a fun-filled Spring Break with Jungle Boogie Break starting March 7 through March 22 and is offering extended hours until 7 p.m. Jungle Boogie Break features daily live music and animal ambassador presentations, plus family-style backyard games including a giant Connect Four, Jenga, Checkers, Dominos, and bean bag toss all set on the Great Lawn.

Guests can also enjoy the all-new interactive Kangaroo Krossing just in time for Spring Break. This new realm is home to red kangaroos and is an extension of the zoo’s Wild Australia. For an upgraded experience, guests can get up-close and learn more about kangaroos while feeling like they’re on an outback adventure. The new area also includes a renovated snack stand, Snack-A-Roos, and a fun photo opportunity where guests can pop out of our kangaroo pouch! Kangaroo Krossing officially opens on March 6.

Standard admission for Jungle Boogie Break is only $19.99 for adults; $16.99 for children (ages 3-11); admission is free for children two and under. Enjoy some of the zoo’s most popular experiences with a Zoo Fun Day Ticket, which includes zoo admission, one train ride, one carousel ride, and free entry to the butterfly garden - all for one low price. Fun Day tickets are $27.99 adults; $24.99 for children.

For year-round admission, guests are encouraged to become an Annual Pass holder. A Supporter Annual Pass is $40 per person; the Defender Annual Pass is $52 a person, and the Advocate Annual Pass, which includes everything from the Support and Defender Annual Pass but includes a souvenir drink vessel and unlimited carousel rides, is $62 a person. Plus, from February 28 through March 22, guests can get 25% off all Annual Passes online and at the zoo's ticket windows. This is the best deal of the season!
