The federal government is showing where it plans to build the border wall in the Laredo area. In a statement yesterday, Customs and Border Protection published a map showing nearly 70-miles of uninterrupted wall projected along the border in Webb and Zapata counties. The proposed wall begins in Webb County north of Laredo at the Colombia Solidarity Bridge and winds southward along the Rio Grande where it ends near San Ygnacio in Zapata County. The CBP statement also says the agency is accepting feedback from the public on the FY20 Laredo Border Wall System Projects until Tuesday, April 21st.
