San Antonio preps coronavirus response

San Antonio public health leaders are trying to ease concerns about the coronavirus. While the virus has been declared a public health emergency, Dr. Colleen Bridger says there have been no cases in Bexar County. The assistant city manager says part of that is because there are no flights to to San Antonio from China. It was announced earlier that Lackland Air Force Base has been chosen among military installations to house Americans evacuated from China. Several hundred could be quarantined at Lackland. Officials say any that are housed there, will be kept away from the general population. City officials say they've been working with the Centers for Disease Control on a plan, but want to stress the move to house evacuees at Lackland should not pose a risk to the city.
