Volunteers Help Repair Homes After Plant Explosion

A group of volunteers is being formed to help repair homes after a massive plant explosion in Southeast Texas. The Restoration Team, made up of members from multiple churches, used social media to put out the word that they needed volunteers to help. A spokesman for the group says they will be boarding up windows and tarping roofs and making sure their neighbors are "aware that they are not alone in this." Authorities say the explosion damaged structures up to a half mile away, and has left several people displaced. Two people, believed to be employees of Watson Grinding and Manufacturing near Clay were killed by the blast. An investigation into the explosion is underway, but officials say it could take months.
