A Texas congresswoman will help deliver the Democratic response to the State of the Union address. El Paso Representative Veronica Escobar will give the Spanish language response next month. Escobar took to Twitter to share a statement with her followers after the announcement saying "Our diversity is our strength." House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called Escobar an "outstanding member of Congress."
