A gang member is under arrest on suspicion of committing a string of armed robberies. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office Habitual Offenders Team arrested 25-year-old Xavier Johnson on Sunday. Johnson is suspected of involvement in the robberies of two grocery truck drivers and several cigarette trucks in San Antonio and the county. He stole a Converse police SUV last year and wrecked it during a chase, and was acquitted of a 2017 murder. The Texas Anti-Gang Task Force says Johnson is an active member of the Bloods.
