An Atascosa County jailer is out of a job after her arrest for reportedly taking meth to a jail inmate. Deputies arrested 19-year-old Madison Howard after surveillance images showed her delivering something to the inmate and accepting payment for it. Investigators later found meth in the jail cell, and discovered six grams of meth in Howard's purse, which was in her locker. She's charged with drug possession in a jail and possession with intent to deliver. Howard had worked for the sheriff's office for less than two months.
