Pflugerville Could Become Home To An Amazon Facility

An Amazon distribution center could be coming to Pflugerville. City officials approved a rezoning measure in a meeting Tuesday night. Yesterday the Austin Business Journal reported that the proposed site is on 94-acres of vacant land near Pecan Street and State Highway 130.  Amazon has other sites in Texas including a nearly nine-hundred-thousand square foot facility in neighboring San Marcos. The company says the proposed Pflugerville Project Charm calls for the construction of a three-point-eight-million-square foot distribution center which would make it Amazon's largest in the state of Texas.
