'Killer Nurse' Genene Jones Reportedly Wants Plea Deal In Death Of Baby

Legal office of lawyers, justice and law concept : Wooden judge gavel or a wood hammer and a soundboard used by a judge person on a desk in a courtroom with a blurred brass scale of justice behind.

Genene Jones makes a court appearance today in which she's expected to make a plea deal concerning the death of a San Antonio baby. Jones, known as the Killer Nurse, was scheduled to stand trial next month for the death of a baby as she worked as a nurse at local hospitals in the 1980s. She spent about 30 years in prison for the 1984 murder of a Kerrville child with a lethal injection of muscle relaxant. Prior to her release from prison, Jones was indicted in five new cases. Her lawyer says he's been discussing a plea deal with the Bexar County DA's office.
