The River Walk will be getting back to normal today after a three-mile stretch of the San Antonio River was drained this week for cleanup and repairs. Transportation and Capital Improvements work crews found all kinds of stuff in the bottom of the river, including credit cards, cell phones, somebody's laptop, a walker, and dozens of electric scooters. San Antonio River Authority biologists rounded up more than 100 apple snails. The South American invasive species was first found in the river in October. The river is being refilled today.
