McCarthy Wants Moore To Stay

Buffalo Bills v Dallas Cowboys

Several outlets report new Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy wants to keep offensive coordinator Kellen Moore on his staff. The 31-year-old guided the Cowboys to an NFL-best 431.5 yards per game in his first season as the OC. He also has an offer to return to his home state to become the Washington offensive coordinator under the Huskies' new coach, Jimmy Lake.

Yesterday, McCarthy flanked by owner Jerry Jones and team executive Stephen Jones, was formally introduced as the Cowboys' ninth head coach, at the team headquarters in Frisco, Texas. McCarthy fought back the tears as he said he was thrilled to coach America's Team, a historic franchise. Jones has given McCarthy carte blanche to select his staff.
