The Travis County Sheriff's Office says a former UTSA football player is charged with the murder of his pregnant sister. Deputies arrested 25-year-old Michael Egwuagu early Saturday morning. He reportedly stabbed 32-year-old Jennifer Ebichi to death on Friday night at her home in Pflugerville. Her unborn child did not survive. Egwuagu played football for UTSA from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, the Chicago Bears signed him as an undrafted free agent.
