The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Detroit Pistons 136-109 on Saturday night. DeMar DeRozan led the Spurs with 29 points and 8 assists. LaMarcus Aldridge had 25 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Bryn Forbes, Rudy Gay and Dejounte Murray were also in double-figures. The Spurs, who throughout the game, broke away from the Pistons with a strong third quarter, outscoring Detroit 42-25 to take a big lead into the fourth quarter. The Spurs are back in action on New Year's Eve with a game against the Warriors at the AT&T Center.
