A San Jacinto County deputy killed in a crash was not wearing his seatbelt. Investigators say Deputy Bryan Pfluger was driving on SH 150 when he clipped the back of another deputy, causing him to lose control and flip his patrol car. The deputies were heading to a burglary call when it happened. Pfluger was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Authorities determined the officer was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
