Carson Wentz threw for 319 yards and a touchdown as the Eagles held on to beat the Cowboys 17-9 in Philadelphia to seize control of the NFC East. Dallas Goedert had nine catches for 91 yards, including a six-yard touchdown in the first quarter. Miles Sanders plunged one-yard for a third quarter touchdown for Philly, which improved to 8-and-7 and can clinch the East title next Sunday by beating the Giants. The Cowboys were limited to three Kai Forbath field goals. Dallas drove to the Eagles' 19 with two minutes to play before turning the ball over on downs. Dak Prescott threw for 265 yards as the Cowboys dropped to 7-and-8 after starting the season 3-and-0.
