Texas Christian University is getting a year probation and a fine for paying student athletes for jobs they didn't do. The NCAA released a report today detailing the payments to 33 players from football and men's and women's basketball, which totaled close to $20,000 over four years. They also fined the school around $50,000. TCU noted the violations were self-reported while noting it was an employment matter and no athletics were actually involved. The university's swimming and diving program was also penalized for exceeding practice time limits.
