A sexual assault suspect in Hidalgo County will remain in jail after a judge refused to lower his bond. Genaro Fuentes appeared in court in Edinburg yesterday to request that his bond be reduced so he could spend Christmas with his family. The judge denied the request, keeping Fuentes' bond at 75-thousand-dollars. Fuentes and at least three other people are facing charges connected to an investigation of human trafficking and child sexual assault at a bar in Mission.
