Police are investigating after a handgun was found in a car outside John Jay High School on Thursday. Northside ISD officials say a social media tip led campus administrators to the 17-year-old student, his car, and the gun. Officials also found an unidentified pill inside the car. The student had made no threats and wasn't arrested, but district officials say charges may be filed later. In the meantime, campus administrators alerted parents about the incident.
