Mexico Vacation Spots Deemed Dangerous

MEXICO-VIOLENCE-24 HOURS

A new warning for anyone planning a holiday trip to Mexico. The State Department has issued a travel advisory due to an increase in murders, kidnappings, carjackings and robberies. This means to use extra caution in the state of Sinaloa which includes the beach resort of Mazatlan. Four other areas are deemed dangerous and listed on the State Department website. Government employees are also being told not to travel between cities after dark or hail taxis on the street.
