A man is in custody following a chase and shooting on the city's west side overnight.
Police say one person was shot and is in critical condition. Officers say they were called to the house when the suspect returned and he fled as they tried to take him into custody. As police chased after him, the car reached speeds of 100 mph until the car experienced problems causing him to pull over. He was taken into custody without anyone else being hurt. An investigation continues.
