Houston mayor Sylvester Turner has won re-election to another term. With 100% of precincts reporting, Turner looks to have earned 56 percent of the run-off vote to defeat millionaire and lawyer Tony Buzbee. Turner credits the victory to his achievements in office, including the response to Hurricane Harvey and pension reform. In his speech to supporters, Buzbee did not concede the race, but did say he would accept the results of the election.
