Smoke was seen for miles in Arlington yesterday when a fire broke out at the construction site of Globe Life Park. Fire crews were called to the future home of the Texas Rangers for what officials say was a two-alarm blaze. One firefighter says the incident could have been much worse if not for prior training inside the stadium. Authorities say that "something" caught fire inside the construction side, but the cause of the blaze is not known at this time. Officials have not said if the fire will cause the stadium to delay its planned opening next year. The former Rangers' stadium, Globe Life Park, has already begun renovations to be used as a football field for the upcoming XFL season.
