Triple-A Texas says more than nine-million Texans will travel this holiday season, from Sunday, December 21st, through Wednesday, January 1st. That's the biggest number since the travel group started keeping track in 2000, and is up nearly four-percent from last year. Most of the traveling Texans plan to drive to get where they're going. A spokesman for Triple-A Texas says the state's strong economy and low gas prices are encouraging Texans to get behind the wheel.
