Suspect In Custody After Lockdown At Naval Air Station Corpus Christi

Caution

The lockdown at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi is being lifted. Details of what led to the lockdown are not available. The base's Twitter feed sent a message saying it was not a drill and ordered personnel to shelter in place. It soon updated the message to say a suspect is in custody. The U.S. Navy reported no shots were fired and there are no reports of injuries. They added that at this point there is no indication that the incident was connected to Friday's shooting in Pensacola.
