Nomar Mazara is no longer a member of the Texas Rangers. Texas traded the outfielder to White Sox late last night in exchange for minor league prospect Steele Walker. Mazara was considered a possible centerpiece for the Rangers when he debuted in 2016 but his performance leveled out over the past few years. Texas also had a logjam in the outfield including Willie Calhoun. Walker was considered Chicago's Number Six prospect and graduated from Prosper High. He could play in Double-A Frisco.
