The Fort Worth ISD is appealing the Texas Education Agency's decision to reinstate a fired Carter Riverside High School teacher. Georgia Clark was terminated for sending tweets to President Donald Trump asking him to do something about illegal immigrants in the district. Clark appealed to a hearing examiner, and later to the state education commissioner. The state ordered Fort Worth ISD either to reinstate Clark or pay her a year's salary and benefits.
