Dozens displaced after huge San Antonio apartment fire

An apartment fire in San Antonio has left dozens of people without a home.

The fire broke out about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night at the Whitefield Place Apartments in the 4600 block of Clark Avenue.

Firefighters say flames were shooting from a second floor roof when they arrived. In all, sixteen apartment units were damaged in the blaze. More than 50 people were displaced by the fire, including 30 adults and 25 children. No one was injured. An investigation is underway to determine a cause for the fire.
