Bexar County Deputy Arrested For Inappropriately 'Searching' Women

A Bexar County sheriff's deputy has been arrested after women came forward with allegations of inappropriate behavior.

Floyd Berry Jr. is an 18-year veteran of the department. During a news conference, Sheriff Javier Salazar said the 49-year-old deputy had been accused by women of inappropriately "searching" them.

Bexar County Street Crimes and Internal Investigators with the Public Integrity Unit investigated and later arrested him.

Salazar says the allegations involve a car stop in November. The woman alleges that Deputy Berry took her out of the car and placed her in his patrol car, drove her around the corner and according to Salazar, began "searching her" inappropriately.

So far, officials say five women have already come forward with similar stories and complaints about the deputy.
