The man accused of killing ten people and wounding 13 more during a 2018 Southeast Texas school shooting is now in a state hospital. Galveston County officials confirmed the 19-year-old was transferred to the North Texas State Hospital this morning. A judge ruled last month the suspect was incompetent to stand trial due to his mental status. Defense attorneys had long argued the man didn't understand why he was charged in the attack on Santa Fe High School. He'll be in the hospital for at least 120 days and could face trial again if his competency is restored.
