Three people are dead after a small plane that flew out of Sugar Land crashed on Sunday night in San Antonio. The pilot was flying to Boerne, but indicated he would try to make an emergency landing at the San Antonio International Airport. The plane crashed about 6:30 p.m. into an industrial area on West Rhapsody Drive, about 150 yards short of the runway. The Piper four-seater is reportedly owned by Austin-based RTW Capital LLC. The names of the victims on the plane, two men and a woman, haven't been released.
