The Texas Longhorns started out slow but ended up beating Texas Tech 49-24 on Saturday in Austin.
Texas' Sam Ehlinger was 19 of 27 passing for 348 yards and 2 touchdowns. Roschon Johnson was the leading rusher with 105 yards on 23 carries. He also had 3 touchdowns.
Texas Tech's Jett Duffey was 36 of 58 passing for 399 yards and 2 touchdowns. SaRodorick Thompson was the Red Raiders' leading rusher with 86 yards on 16 carries.
The win moved the Longhorns to 7 and 5 on the season, while the Red Raiders went to 4 and 8 with the loss.
