27 cars being stored in a facility near George Bush Intercontinental Airport burned after a fire broke out in one of the cars and then spread.
Aldine Fire Department firefighters were called to the scene about 10:30 Friday night. The first reports were it was a trash fire, but when they arrived they discovered vehicles on fire.
Officials with the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office said an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, although they believe the cause of the fire is accidental. Investigators say it appears to be unspecified electrical anomaly in the vehicle of where the fire originated that sparked the blaze.
