A Fort Worth police officer is hospitalized with serious injuries following a crash involving a DWI suspect. Police say a vehicle slammed into the officer early this morning on the 287 service road at Harmon Road while she was putting out flares. Officers were able to capture the suspect, identified as Oscar Barragan, following a brief chase through a field. He is charged with intoxication assault. The officer is expected to survive.
