A big rig plunged off an overpass in downtown San Antonio this morning, killing the driver of the truck. It happened on I-10 and Frio.
Police closed off a turnaround under the the elevated highway while the wreckage was cleaned up and police investigated.
Officers say another vehicle was apparently involved in an accident with the truck, prior to the truck careening off the bridge. The driver of the car involved was not injured.
Road crews are also being brought in as a concrete wall on the I-10 bridge was also damaged.
