Michael Bennett went from suspended by the Patriots for the Monday night game to traded to the Cowboys. New England has shipped the three-time Pro Bowl defensive end to Dallas for a 2021 sixth- or seventh-round draft pick. The Patriots suspended Bennett for conduct detrimental to the team after a disagreement with defensive line coach Bret Bielema in front of other players over lack of playing time. Bennett, who turns 34 next month, has been on the field for 36 percent of the team's defensive snaps and has two-and-a-half sacks. The Cowboys are off this week.
