Abbott Declares Disaster Following North Texas Storms

Tornado Leaves Leveled Buildings In Its Wake In North Dallas

A disaster declaration is being issued by Texas Governor Greg Abbott following Sunday's storms in north Texas. The declaration covers 16 counties including Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Ellis, Van Zandt, and Rockwall, where severe weather left a swath of destruction. At least three tornadoes have been confirmed by the National Weather Service, including an EF-3 twister in Dallas. At least six people were injured, but no deaths were reported.
