Houston police say a man fell to his death from a third-story balcony of a building near Caroline Street and Dallas Street.
Police say the man had apparently been denied entry into a club earlier in the night and may have been trying to gain entry at the time it happened. He was found dead at the scene.
Police are looking at surveillance video and interviewing witnesses to try to determine what happened, although foul play is not suspected.
