The punishment phase is underway for the former Dallas cop convicted of murder. Amber Guyger faces life in prison for shooting Botham Jean to death last year inside his apartment. She could also be sentenced to a minimum of five years. Guyger says she mistook Jean's apartment for her own and believed he was an intruder. A jury found her guilty of murder today despite arguments from her attorneys it was a tragedy and she feared for her life. Dallas County prosecutors says Guyger failed to follow her training and should have called for backup.
