Joe Slye kicked three field goals, including a 55-yarder in the fourth quarter to break a tie, as the Panthers upended the Texans 16-10 in Houston. Christian McCaffrey scored the only Carolina touchdown in the second quarter. The Panthers over came three fumbles by quarterback Kyle Allen to improve to 2-and-2. Deshaun Watson passed for only 160 yards on 33 attempts and was sacked six times. He rushed for a one-yard TD in the third quarter to tie the score at 10. Houston fell to 2-and-2.
