SeaWorld San Antonio has a Halloween thrill for everyone – from family-friendly fun to terror-fying haunts! During the day, between Friday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 27, Spooktacular offers young guests fun shows and attractions that will entertain the whole family. Then as the sun sets, family thrills turn into frightening, spine-tingling chills during Howl-O-Scream, where suspense and surprises lurk around every corner. And for parents with kids, a special offer lets them indulge in all the festive fear of this ghoulish holiday, while the young ones enjoy the fun at SeaWorld San Antonio’s own Spook-Camp-ular.
Howl-O-Scream is known for its terrifying scare zones known as “Terror-tories.” Think rollicking roller coaster rides in the dark, splashy live shows, and a new haunted house, Milton Creek Manor.
“Milton Creek Manor was a beautiful and lavish hotel that closed its doors after mysterious murders and gruesome events took place,” said Roland Garcia, SeaWorld San Antonio’s vice president of entertainment. “But many years later, the doors will be open again for brave guests who dare to walk the halls. Many people will check in, but only a few will check out!”
Howl-O-Scream is not complete without returning favorite shows like Shamu’s Rockin’ Creepshow, where Shamu and companion orcas put a thrilling spin on favorite Halloween tunes, and the ever- popular Monster Stomp, a nighttime musical song and dance extravaganza with an eerie twist set in Ripper Row.
All haunted houses, shows and scare zones are included as part of regular SeaWorld admission. Those with an extra appetite for Howl-O-Scream horror can take advantage of upgrade opportunities that are available for a limited time only, including Fear Passes for priority haunted-house access and the Face Your Fears Tour – an exclusive, no-lines guided experience. Howl-O-Scream, and all its mayhem for mature park guests, comes to life at 7 p.m.
