A construction worker was killed along Loop 1604 this morning as she was picking up barrels. Police say the 29-year-old victim was killed by a hit-and-run driver about 4:15 this morning. Another worker who witnessed the wreck called 911. It happened on 1604 near Hausman. The driver is still being sought.
