No injuries have been reported after a tornado touched down in Harris County east of Houston tonight. There were other reports of a tornado near Cove in nearby Chambers County. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says Harris County emergency teams were surveying damage reports. There were luckily no reports of any injuries. The storm was part of the system spawned by Tropical Storm Imelda that was downgraded earlier to a tropical depression as the storm moves to the north.
