An IHOP restaurant sustained some fire damage in San Antonio overnight. Firefighters say heavy smoke and fire was coming out of the IHOP restaurant in the 6800 block of North Loop 1604 when they arrived. The restaurant was open at the time and had evacuated everyone outside. The blaze reportedly broke out in a utility closet. The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical, although an investigation continues. Estimated damage was $40,000.
