A Houston police officer has been shot near the site of Thursday night's Democratic presidential debate. Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo says one suspect was killed during the incident. He added that two others were taken into custody and said police are still looking for one more. The officer was shot on Tristan Street near the intersection of Scott Street and Old Spanish Trail, about a mile away from the Texas Southern University campus, and less than an hour after the end of the debate. The five-year veteran was struck three times, twice in the upper body and once in the groin area, authorities said.
