Houston Astros ace Justin Verlander believes his ejection could have been avoided if everyone behaved better. Verlander says he could have used better language when expressing his displeasure over a pitch last night against the Rays. The pitcher says home plate umpire Pat Hoberg could have deescalated the situation a bit more and thinks everyone overreacted. The Astros are back at Minute Maid Park tonight with Gerrit Cole on the mound against the Rays. First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m.
